The author of The Magic in la Magdalena Elizabeth Zumbahlen-Ruperez (@poemartgallery) came to share her story with Year 4, 5 and 6. It was an amazing experience! She told the story of the «Duendes» who come alive at night in La Magdalena and she even brought some mini wooden statues for us to touch, which had been carved by Rogelio Verdeja. Rogelio is the artist who carves statues at the Magdalena. We also got to ask her lots of questions about being a writer. Her book is on sale at El Corte Inglés if anyone would like to add it to their Christmas list!
